As an amateur guitarist, I frequently spent hours searching the internet for easy guitar music. Even when I did not know how to play major chords on the guitar, my computer disk was almost flooded with different kinds of tabs, chords, and sheet music for songs, which I had not heard even once. It was a sort of addiction to collect notations of music, even though it didn’t convey its real message. This is the prime reason why I have started writing about this topic, since I know many new guitarists are anxious to give their slow and lethargic fingers some simple tunes, which they can understand as well as play right from the first day itself. After all we all want quick results !

Easy guitar music is something, which you can learn now and play right at the next moment. So grab your guitar and plectrum and play as you read.

1. Pipeline:

This is the first tune that i learned to play and is probably the simplest of the lot. Just focus on the upper fat strings of your guitar and play along these tabs.

2. Wish You Were Here (Intro) by Pink Floyd:

Well its quite surprising that its a Pink Floyd song, but the intro is really simple if you can just hold a G major chord. All the notes are just played by holding a G major chord or lifting your finger and playing the open string. And you thought this was difficult !
